Visited friends here. We would not consider locating to a elder community like this during the COVID pandemic despite perfectly appropriate security precautions in place. When we visited (October 2021) it was less than half full. We saw only a few residents. It has lovely communal facilities, a French chef from Coleville-sur-Mere (Normandy), a lovely bar, exercise room, pool, library, art room, auditorium and other common areas. The apartment we saw was small but adequate, especially given that they feed residents two meals/day. It felt like staying in a resort. Our friends are feeling pretty good about it. Both are over 80 and at the limit of managing independent living.
