All Seasons Ann Arbor

Visited friends here. We would not consider locating to a elder community like this during the COVID pandemic despite perfectly appropriate security precautions in place. When we visited (October 2021) it was less than half full. We saw only a few residents. It has lovely communal facilities, a French chef from Coleville-sur-Mere (Normandy), a lovely bar, exercise room, pool, library, art room, auditorium and other common areas. The apartment we saw was small but adequate, especially given that they feed residents two meals/day. It felt like staying in a resort. Our friends are feeling pretty good about it. Both are over 80 and at the limit of managing independent living.

Over the last five years we have been visiting and researching retirement communities. This summer we decided to move to Ann Arbor because of its proximity to family, friends, airport, hospitals, and activities. Our choice of community was All Seasons Ann Arbor because it offered so much of what we hoped for in a retirement community. The outstanding staff here is so accommodating and helpful in every way! Everyone from the executive director to the maintenance and cleaning crew, the staff here has been warm, welcoming, competent, and responsive. We particularly like how well they all work together to complete whatever requests residents have. As we have met other very welcoming residents, we have been impressed with their satisfaction with All Seasons Ann Arbor and all its varied, interesting, and fun activities. The staff is interested in satisfying the interests of the residents and makes every effort to make them possible. In addition the gourmet food in the seven dining areas is delicious! We love the 140-seat auditorium and events there, the swimming pool, well-equipped exercise room, library, game room, and so much more! We are very pleased with our decision and look forward to many active, fun, and healthy years here!
